I found these tires that might work well for Vikkie. They are called !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and are rather cheap at $70 a tire (including install). They also have a W speed rating and according to the description have " Ultra performance; non-ultra price". Anyone have any knowledge on them? Thanks!

Super cheap tires are super cheap for a reason. Do you want to put your life on the line to safe a few bucks?

Yeah that is true but these are one of the few with my proper speed rating and weight load. I can spend $95 and get Good years but they are not the V rating. They have a T.
These nice Hankooks are like $175 a pop. I don't want to spend that much on a $1700 car that isn't daily driven now.
I'm trying to find out if these are rebranded or what.

They are made by Kelly I think. Does not mean they are the same level of quality.
I would never, ever cheap out this hard on tires. $50 a wheel is ludicrous.

I know that's the issue I have. But they are higher rated so I thought they might be someone decent or a nice rebrand.
These Goodyear's aren't bad at 100 but they only have a T speed rating.

Why do you need higher than a T speed rating?
Stick to a known brand.

Tell me, when are you going to be going 168 mph?

Not necessarily. As a case study you have Riken Raptors- a cheaper Michelin off-brand that's W rated.
Has a reputation for sidewall failure and catastrophic failure. Not incredibly common but common enough for me.

Do you plan to exceed 118 MPH? If not, T rating will work just fine.

Welp, feeding a fam of 5 and taking care of a couple with dementia and cancer, I DID "cheap out" to get said Velozza tires for my Kia Soul out of necessity. Yeahhhh...about that. Drove for literally 1 year, mostly freeway for work and mom's doc. Had them do a alignment when I came in for brakes as I had gone 15K and the car now had 66K total. Also got my "free rotation" and oil change. Have had it back 3 times now as it sounds like I'm driving a monster truck. After "re-cutting" the rotors, "re-balancing" the tires, I now have been told that they are "cheap tires that are only meant to go about 30K anyway" and "they should have been rotated every 3,000 miles. Now you just have chop. Lots of tread and they are perfectly safe, but you have chop." Hm. Never had to rotate tires before 6 to 7K in my entire 30 years of driving various cars with various tires...so this a new one to me. Oh yes. I was told the tires did not come with a mileage warranty as they are a low-profile tire from Velozza, but he would give me 30 percent off a new set of treads to replace my year old ones with 15K on them. Nice. And good luck finding anything about Velozza as a company. :(

Used to have Bridgestone Potenza tires on my ‘06 GTi Turbo. Switched to Velozza ZXV two years ago and will never go back to Bridgestone. Don’t be fooled by the low price. They are rated better than the Bridgestone models with the exact same tread pattern. Great tires at a great price! And, FYI folks, The tire companies have shared basic molds and technology for decades to protect their production from labor strikes. Sooo, that Firestone you’re buying could have been created in a Goodyear plant. I’m sure that’s how thes tires got so cheap...brown box manufacturing.
